I was always fascinated observing the world Of artists.  As a child, I watched my parents friend create something on a blank paper and there emerged a life.  I was only 5, but as I imitated an artist, I no longer had a body.  It was more like I was replaced by the intensity or maybe the joy I experienced when something emerged.  Than the time of drought overtook me.  When my tears could not satisfy the rhythm of the waves that would ebb and flow .  However, I would eventually get replenished, especially when I discovered art with water. It became my muse.  I would be asked time and again how often I would use my watercolors.  Is it by inspiration or discipline?  I then would quote some famous saying attributed to Picasso, then to Einstein etc.  but the bottom line is that it is 90% perspiration and 10 % inspiration.  I likened it to how I am rarely inspired to get out of my warm bed and start to workout, but as i do i become ecstatic and I want to  continue and I forget myself.  Watercolors bring me a passionate friend.  We make love with the colors as the water runs through and drips in a bit of lust.  Then, suddenly I'm contemplative like a yogi in deep meditation.  I began to pray before I worked and then the divine emerged.  Water is also transparent and you can see my heart in my work. It takes the coward out of me and exposes me full fledged.  Watercolors, you are my muse!
